Shilpi Haat is a permanent marketing infrastructure developed at Rajiv Gandhi Handicrafts Bhawan, Baba Khark Singh Marg, New Delhi wherein 50 permanent stalls are available in a closed Air conditioned hall for promotion of Handicrafts and Handlooms.
Applications are invited from registered NGOs or Exporter Association working in Handicrafts and Handlooms sector for allotment of 50 stalls in Shilpi Haat, Baba Kharak Singh Marg, New Delhi on a daily rental as may be fixed from time to time on fortnightly basis each month from 1st to 15th and 16th to 30/31st begining from April, 2011 to March, 2012. The organisation must fulfill the following criteria.
(1) The NGO should have documentation of having done recognized work or made contribution in the field of Handicrafts & Handlooms such as marketing, training, capacity building, design development etc.
(2) The objective of NGO for development of Handicrafts and Handlooms should have clearly mentioned in their byelaws, Memorandum & Article of Association, etc.
(3) The NGO must be at least three years old and should submit proper Memorandum of Association, Registration Certificate, Balance Sheets and Annual Reports.
The interested organisation may send their applications to Deputy Director(Marketing), O/O DC(Handicrafts), West Block-7, R.K. Puram, New Delhi-110066 on their Letterhead along with requisite documents.
